I think the car would make some really killer power with the above. This will be awhile since I want to work on some interior stuff and N20 setup.
As if the car doesn't make awesome power, times, and look sexy as hell now...

Congrats on the numbers. Those are great numbers for any NA setup. The 396 must have really liked the extra air from that intake setup.

So Sat. did wind up having a happy ending after all. Good to hear Larry, and thanks again.

THANKS..not sure the intake really gained anything on the dyno. I had a 4" single before and this setup would only be expected to see gains on the track, but who knows. The real gains or probably more so the miles on the engine and it loosening up some.

yeh..NA was good, but N20 testing didn't happen again.

found a fuse blown and after fixing that the 685 box took a **** on me for a 2nd time

maybe it just wants to stay NA?

My goal is/was 11's for my Trans Am finished and a nice C5 Corvette as a new toy. Thats going streetable car application. I personally would prefer to not **** my pants everytime I make a pass with my car. (10's like your car, ohh I dream of a ride in it someday!) I can only imagine yours with a 200 shot... To each their own, though!

Staying NA, don't say that. You and I know your just joking. Besides we both know the 685s have some nice features but it seems they might be a little hit or miss on their quality. Your winning though, 2 bad units for you and one for me.

Quick question, never seen it before but what caused that loop on the chart?

I've seen several autos do that. Possibly the converter locking up?

BTW awesome gains Larry.

Harold

info from GMHTP article

http://www.gmhightechperformance.com..._rear_end.html

Hey I have a 383 with TFS heads that flow at 307 .600 lift with a HR bigger cam
24X/25X on 108 LSA with .606 lift , I got an LT4 intake with all supporting mods. I am not making that much more power than you are we are actually pretty close. My compression is 11:0:1 set up for a big shot but no timing is taken out yet.
I noticed your compression is quite a bit higher. I would be pretty happy with your setup. Is my compression really hurting me that bad? I know nitrous loves compression but should I have gone a lil more aggressive?

Marc...we will get you there man. I'm sure at some point when your at the shop the car will be there and we'll take it out.

you know I will spray the car! The Nitrous Outlet kit is too pretty not to use. I am just going to plan for a window switch only and a nitrous file for both timing and shift points. SIMPLE

yes it is due to the converter locking as Matt said

This is due to the RPM dropping back down for sec. when it locks up.

it all comes down to the details of the build, but in most cases the added compression say with your build would be worth some power

Yeah...Chased talked me into putting it in the center console vs mounting it to the HVAC plate for that reason...

Good luck Sunday...maybe next time I can make it out for some motor runs too...

I assume you are running the 28in tire so that you don't run out of gear when you spray it?
