http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

will i have to have my oil pick up tube longer than stock or have it welded to sump lower than my factory pickup tube???????

can i get rid of my factory windage tray with this one?

can my factory style oil pan gasket work with this pan?

does a oil dipstick work with this pan or not??????

It will use the stock pick up since it's the same depth as the stock pan. It says a windage tray is included so I'd say you can loose the stock one. I'd keep it till you get the pan though just incase it's some type of cheesy universal tray. Yes it'll use the stock style gasket, be sure to buy a new one and do yourself a favor and get the 1 piece gasket. It'll use the stock oil dipstick, the description means theres no provision in the side of the pan for a universal dipstick. It's pretty much a stock replacement pan with a kicked out sump for more holding capacity.

I used this pan and pickup, however you loose the low oil sender and I don't know if it'll clear the stock k-member. I figured if I was gonna pay money for an aftermarket pan I wanted more than just 1 extra qt of oil!

You MUST USE the Moroso pick-up, its a better design and better placed in the pan.

Stock dipstick works fine

Factory gasket works great

Clears factory k just fine

If you get an aftermarket pickup make sure you get the correct depth (7.5") is stock and the pan you asked about. Aslo measure your tube diameter my HV has a .750" tube I believe stock is a .625".

I used this pan when I did my Heads/Cam swap.
You have to get the Morroso pickup - be prepared to do some trimming on the sheet metal in the pan, I had to trim mine so the pickup would fit into the sump when it was installed. Also, the opening for the oil sensor didn't line up exactly with the threaded hole, so I had to dremel that out a bit. AND since I have AS&M mid length headers, I had to clearance the Y-pipe slightly to fit around the larger pan (and grind down the oil sensor housing because it was touching the Y-pipe). All in all, I think I spent the better part of a day modding the pan to fit my motor.
If you've got LTs, you will probably be just fine!
