Default Changing O2 sensors

Hey guys,

So I was told that the rear O2 sensor near the cat does not effect A/F ratio, but only determines the efficiency of the cat. Is this correct?

So, I really only need to replace the front O2 sensor if my car is running rich? Also, WHERE is the front one?!

Thanks guys.

I thought '93's only had the front pair of o2 sensors Even if you had post-cat o2 sensors, you only have one cat, so you'd only have one rear o2 sensor...

Yes, post-cat o2 sensors only serve to measure the efficiency of the cat.

For the front o2 sensors you should only be running AC Delco's.

Yes, 93s only have front ones. They are located on the exhaust manifolds or headers.

So for my car, both O2 sensors effect the A/F ratio?
