Default Comp 503 Cam Question

So I was wondering about stalls and what would be best for a Comp 503 Cam 503? It's actually going to be the daily driver for the wife and she drives around 50 miles to work.

I was wondering which would be the best stall to go with for this cam? All help would be appreciated.

2500 minimum to help with the idle. Get a locking version to help with the gas mileage.

I DD my CC503, but it's a M6 car. I drive about 30 miles one way each day to work. I'd get something like a Yank SS3000 or better.
Does the car have proper supporting mods for that cam? What gears does she have?

I ran a 3000 with it, I'd say anything between 3000-3400 is a safe bet.

Yes, Don't know what gears yet as we haven't taken the cover off to check. Pretty much just bought a pre-built motor and when we went for the test drive (corey and I) We were impressed. Time to look for a stall

Vig 2800-3000. Javier ran one of these into the 12.0's with the XE503. They are also very tight and good for a daily driver.

I would hope no one is ever considering a non-lockup converter in a 4L60e.

I'd like to know how a 2500 converter is going to help with the idle

Why would a lock up converter be bad? I'm just trying to learn all about stalls really. I know I should search really but i thought maybe you guys can just give me the short and low down version. So I'm gonna look for a 3k stall. That will be at least manageable to DD correct?

I ran a 2800 stall behind a 355 LT1 with a CC503 and it worked well.

Ok, Looks like I am going for a 3k stall with a lock up so at least the wife can get some good MPG's. Anybody know what kinda MPG she is gonna get or do i need to list the mods really?

I know for sure it's a CC503, Assembled Aluminum F-body heads(have to find out from corey what is in the heads), Pacesetter LT's and ORY with cats deleted, A/C Delete pulley, 3k Lockup Stall, CAI, all I can think of right now. Thanks for all the help guys. I appreciate it alot.

I just did the first MPG calculation on my build in sig. 14.5mpg. I was pretty happy with that. That's about 50/50 mix highway and city driving.

See that 2600 sounds nice lol. Damn torn really and Corey drives a Manual so i have no clue what it feels like lol.

Also I was wondering if somebody could help me pick a good trans cooler for around 50 picks. Found these on summit.

I'm using a B&M Supercooler. It takes up less room than a Hayden and offers more cooling surface area.

B&m super cooler #70268,stacked plate design is the only way to go,you could also use a gm 94-99 suburban trans cooler, basically the same thing.
