I got mine from ebay too, something like $52 shipped. My dad is running them in his truck too without any problems.
I need to order my high beams and fogs now though, and get some for my tahoe LOL. But I just pulled my old lights out of the housing and siliconed the new HIDs in. Done and done, nor need for $200 POS housings, I heard they break really easily.
BTW I got 4300K, no need to go with a higher number, the light doesn't get any brighter, just changes color

Did you also just silicone them into the stock housings? Can you post a link to the mentioned kit?

I don't have any pics of the install process, but I can try to get some pics tonight of how bright they are. Theres a write up somewhere, a search might turn it up. I think it was on a vette, but I can't remember. Basically all you have to do is twist out the old bulbs that are sealed in and clean them up a little bit and seal in the new ones. Its pretty much that simple.

Get 4300k then, they are white, not blue. My dad has 5000k in his fog lights and 4300k in the headlights of his truck and the fogs are bluish.

Its just that 10k is pointless. They really aren't that much brighter than stock bulbs, but way more blue to make them appear to be brighter. If you would have gone with 6k bulbs then they would have the blue and still be really bright, quite a bit brighter than the 10ks.
Counted out, go with the 4300k color. Thats what I did on my car and it makes the silverstar ultras look yellow. Its been raining here, but I'll try to get some pics tonight to show you. I still need to get fogs and highs, but I'm happy since I can actually drive at night now. PM me if you want a link to the kits I have been really happy with.

I'm not going to argue and say that that aren't any brighter than stock bulds, I know they are, but going to a 10k bulb you left some lumens on the table. My headlights are bright, but if they had more blue in them I think they would just become more blinding to other drivers.
Glad your happy with them, but I'll stick with under 5k bulbs for my stuff.

Hey if I end up not liking them I can always change the bulbs! No ones arguing here, seems that me and another guy were getting **** slung at us for getting the 10k. I was originally going to get 6k but my friend said get the 10's. They are still more than double the lumen output of a halogen, just not triple(oh no).
