Default ls1 breaks

will stock ls1 brAkes fit on an lt1 and is there any modding that needs to be done to make this work?

i feel like an ******* lol sorry guys, my car is in the shop right now, and i just had an offer to get the ls1 breaks for free so i wasnt sure if it was an easy swap or not

save yourself the hassle and i'll drive to columbus to pick up the ls1 fronts off of you...

Spindles, Hubs, Rotors, Calipers and Pads. Just un-bolt and bolt the new ones in, the Lines bolt in aswell.

I am considering swapping out my stock LT1 Rear end for a Stock LS1 Rear end. Make any difference???

both are ten bolts, rear brakes are like an inch bigger but not that much bigger. besides front brakes do 75% of the work i wouldnt worry about it and save up for a 12 bolt

you will just need to switch the backing plates on the rear. since ls1 rear brakes are mounted in front as opposed to the lt1 rear brakes that are mounted on the back side. unless your getting the ls1 calipers/ rotors also then dont worry about it

yeah...the rear was free...labor is super cheap...thought about doing it as a temp thing till I get a shot at a better rear. I want to powdercoat the calipers too, my fronts are red and backs are stock...wanna make the backs red too

I prefer the LT1 Rear Brakes for the 15" Draglites.
