K&N is always a good brand to go with. They are all for the most part pretty similar.

SLP had a goos CAI setup and moroso's is pretty good too. I didnt like K&N only because the black plastic did not go with my engine scheme lol, but the performance was good.

I've used 3 types, the Moroso, the K&N and the factory Ram Air. I think the Moroso looks the best, but the K&N is probably just as good, the design between the two is very simular.

They are almost all pretty much the same. That being said, just find the cheapest used one you can.

on this topic, are the cheap ebay ones any good? they all seem the same, just a tube with a filter.

Yes and no.

On ebay they sell two types - one that places the filter far away from the engine (like the K&N and Moroso kits) and they make one that is more of less just like replacing the airbox with a filter. Obviously the one that moves the air farther from the engine will draw in more cold air, making that one the better piece.

However, the ones on ebay are also made out of metal which will hold heat more than the plastic ones. There has also been people who say they feel kind of cheap and don't fit quite right.

You can get a used CAI on the classifieds for around $80. It seems the best way to go.
