I have a 1995 Z28. It wont start using the key anymore. When I try to turn the key nothing happens. The battery is charged the radio still turns on and all the gauges activate. Also when I do this the security waring light turns on and blinks continuously. The car can still be push started but runs perfectly once it is. When it has been push started the security light still blinks continuously. I tried disconnecting the battery for a while and reconnecting it but this did nothing. Any Ideas?

but if security light comes on i dont understand how you can push and start it, i thought if security light comes on it wont allow the fuel to the injectors.

Maybe someone that knows can tell both of us about the security light.
