anyone got the headers off ebay?
anyone got the headers off ebay? been looking at some headers with a y-pipe on ebay for $418. Has anyone had any bad experiences with these? They sound great, i just don't want a $400+ headache with fitment or quality issues...

They don't fit well from what others have said.

They fit just fine in my experience. It has the same minor fitment problems as many brand name headers. I just had a problem with the aluminum tab on the block and it scrapes against the K-member slightly. Going on 2 yrs strong.

Just thought I would point out that you are talking about a totally different set of headers... I also had the XS Stainless headers on my 00 trans am, but they are for a LS1, not LT1.
I have posts/threads around the forum on a set of Ebay headers I got...I think they are LPP or Kooks knockoff design based on what others have said. for under $500 shipped, I thought it was worth the little extra headache installing. They are good quality polished stainless headers and ORY. I have heard about the fitment issues being almost the same with the LPPs anyway...not sure about Kooks. If you have time and patience and some tooling to modify the K-member if need be and steering coupler, it's worth it. If you want a plug and play, no modifications required, you may need to get the high dollar headers. Though I haven't heard of many cases of perfect fitment of long tube headers in these cars regardless of brand or money spent.
