Thank you shbox.
Mr. ADM, no offense, but reading some of your comments is a little mis-leading. I don't know at times if your asking for advice or trying to give it.

For what it's worth, I've been running the GM Performance Parts aluminum RRs (SA) for about 20,000 miles. So far, so good....

I'm not offended by words said in a cyberworld don't worry bro.

I came on here to see what other people are doing or have done, and take advice from them. I am not technically or mechanically challenged in any way. My career involves needing extreme mechanical abilities and skills, and the highest forms of technical understanding.

I come here and play dumb, to dig out the information and knowledge from everyone. I do this at work as well, so I can learn more and more (otherwise no one will help you). If I say I know something, then no one will help me improve if they have a better opinion or advice. And if I assume I am correct, and I am human and prone to mistakes, I can make a mistake that will cost me $, or maybe even my life?

Its all good buddy, so lets discuss modifying our LT1s, and pissing off the LS1 fans because we won't change to their recycled beer can engines

What I see in every one of your posts is a will to go "cheaper" at first and what you are choosing WILL cost you more in the longrun.

If you look around you can find powerful RELIABLE setups. If you spend 10% more initially, but it lasts twice as long what cost less?

Might be more than 10% but your right. Can't tell you how many times parts were changed out on my car either because I skimped (once or twice) or something better came along. My modding of "this car" goes all the way back to when Edelbrock shorties were the first or close to the first header out for our cars.

ADM, sounds good.

When working with a budget, and having a sister going to Uni in September who I am funding, I am forced to try and go for the value for money route, but not go cheap on something that will cost me more later on.

I come and ask, what do you guys thin X part, its cheap, but is it worth it? If not good for high powered applications, will it be enough for my application?

Trust me, if I had no priorities, I would pay every penny I had into modifying my car. Right now, these are my only goals, to have a weekend driver to enjoy.
