Default Need help with plans

I just got an lt1 and having been looking at an ls1 for a while i'm not extremely framiliar with it yet. Right now it has edlebrock midlength headers and catback as well as cai. I know i will eventually do a cam swap and i've heard that the stock intake and tb flows pretty well but would it be worth it to port the intake for a 58mm? what kind of cam would do well with the stock intake? and if i did open it up a bit then how big a cam? And i would want to keep the bottom end stock.

Also what other mods are a good idea? like electric water pump? thanks for the help.

Intake and TB aren't an issue until ~450rwhp. I wouldn't touch them yet.

Cam is your choice...read this:

I choose to use the CC503 cam with stock heads and I am extremely satisfied.

Wish I would have put cc503 in instead of cc305.

That's not a bad choice for a stock bottom end, stock heads car either. Looks like your car is running well from your sig.

My buddy just got a CC502, we'll see how he likes it.
