I killed a Dynaspark granted it was from 04 but I shattered the Rotor.

They think it should be fine for my 355 GM847 redlining at 6900 but I have killed 3 Stock Opti's... I have been thinking about the MSD one again as I took my last one apart on my other LTx and it was VERY well built. You just need to be sure to put the O-Ring seal on right.

The Rotor seems to be made to take more abuse.

The Dynaspark is supposed to use a different Rotor but he claims he can not take the reving over 6k well even with the one they make. (This was in an email today)
He feel's it would last for a street car but it makes me wonder.
Thats why I am thinking of the MSD one since that cap and rotor have gotten VERY good reviews for reving past that number.

The other option is to get a Gen 3 Dynaspark and the LTCC or Delteq. I have been thinking about that. I will decide this weekend if I am going to buy and MSD and sell my rebuilt Dynaspark when I get it back from them or get a Gen 3 and go LTCC.
