new here I have a few questions and am looking for some advise. I have a 96 formula that has a stock long block. It has longtubes and a CAI along with a 52 mm throttle body and 4.10s. I can get a great deal on a 236/242 cam. the specs are 550/560 with a 110 lsa. My question is will this cam perform well at the track? I have read the sticky, but it seems it is directed more towards street driven cars. I will be getting a mail order tune, and a TCI 3500 stall. thanks in advance

That's a good cam...but it's a big one for stock heads, relatively speaking. That being said, I know of a member (will prob chime in soon) that ran this cam on stock heads and did well with it...but also had the entire list of bolt-ons.
