Installing LT headers...need advice
besides getting the car as high as possible, i might suggest unbolting pass side motor mount...i was having the same problem you are with clearing the inner fender, so i unhooked the motor mount and jacked up the engine about and inch or two on that side....it was just enough for the header to slip in
I looked at that picture and I have the egr line, but it screwed onto the stock manifold on the top rear, not bolted on with the plate. I believe the 93 LT1 engine was different from 94+ years as far as those accessories go. What screws onto the front of the manifold on the passenger side as I have nothing there, but a spot on my headers for something to screw on??? I believe I'm gonna unbolt the motor mount on that side and jack up the motor. I have the frame of the car close to 2 feet off the ground at the k member. The tires are probably 8" from touching the ground. I don't really feel safe jacking it up any higher. I might try to, though. Thanks again for the help guys!!!

The hole on the front of the passenger side manifold is likely a part of '94-'97 AIR Provisions seen in the picture below.

If you no longer have AIR or EGR on your car, simply use block off plates on the back of the intake manifold where the EGR used to be and just screw on caps to the AIR ports of the headers. and be done with it.
Just as an update, I got the headers in today. I'm pretty satisfied with them, even though they whooped my *** to get them in there. I didn't know the 93 and 94+ were different, though. Wish I did, could have saved myself alot of time and effort by ordering different ones. Anyway, I'm gonna make a write-up to help other noobs...I'll post a link. And again, thanks for all your help!!!
