Default break calipers

So i noticed my rear passenger wheel had botu 3 in of break dust on it last night haha, came to the conclusion my caliper is stuck down and locked on the disc, so i need a new caliper. Suggestions for a upgrade or part number for OEM. I already got dimpled and slotted roters stock size and had hawks ceramic pads till they got eatten off by stuck calipers lol

I would remove it and check to see if you just need to grease up the slider first. And upgrading the rear brake (not break, lol) calipers doen't make much sense to me when you can spend your money on better front braking parts where the real braking power is.

LS1 Brakes for the front, I like my LT1 Brakes in the back, they clear the Drag Lites easily.

No the rotors won't fit, but the dual pistons calipers up front will be a significant upgrade to the stock calipers you have now. Then get yourself a pair of Brembo blanks and some Hawks pads. Braking power increase will be very noticable.

Check your brake lines before you break out the check book an start buying parts. A bad rubber brake line will also cause the pads to stay clamped down on the rotor.

You say you wanna keep the rotors you have now, but it sounds like that corner was hung up for quite some time. Id think that at least that one rotor would need replaced.

either that or go with the strange front and rear brake upgrades. Lose weight, look great, and great stopping power

I don't believe you. Buy me a complete package and let me do my own testing.

Are the LT1's single piston brakes?

you could always upgrade to c5 Vette brakes...UMI makes a kit...just so happens there's a link for it on my post as well...haha

http://www.umiperformance.com/catalo...158cparu94n3a1

It'd be a significant upgrade, it'd look great, and it's not as expensive as say brembo or wilwoods...just a thought
