And the best cam for stock heads, all though it will be preference, is probably the CC503.

i wouldn't do an electric water pump on a daily driver car (even though i did have one on mine)
and you forgot tune, lt4 knock module, shifter or shift kit (depending if the original poster has an automatic or manual), stall (if it's an auto), and aluminum driveshaft
and i dont think you will need a cam to hit your hp goal... if you get everything mentioned above, you should be just about there.

Does anyone have a link to the article in GMHTP when they installed a Crane Hi-6 on a light bolt-on '97 Z28 and picked up 7rwhp/8rwtq? If so i'd appreciate it. For a couple hundred bucks I don't see how an ignition box would hurt. I've always liked them for the improved idle and throttle response myself.
I didn't know people considered a tune and shift-kit bolt-ons LOL. Learn something new everyday.

well of course you are new so if you do ANYTHING to your car you are going to want to do a tune on it so you get not only max performance but alsoyour car will run much smoother and better...if yo uhave any questions just pm me and i will answer anything in good detail for you...
