I'm pretty sure they just pull up...they have a retaining clip that slips over a ledge style...assuming they are the same as on my third gen. Which I'm pretty sure they are. You may have to pull off the interior door panel and make sure there aren't any bolts/screws holding like the sides on or something up inside or on the edges. It has been a long time since I did them or I could tell you for certain, but I had so many parts on and off the car I did it on while doing paint ad interior restoration, I honestly can't remember for certain. It was not that terrible though or I would have remembered it being a pain. I would pull the interior door panel anyway just so you can get a good look in there and make sure it just clips in or if there are hardware.

pull out the inner door panel, roll the windows down. apply silicone on the window weather strip (or what ever they call it) press it in hard, let it dry. thats it, mine never sliped out .

Yea, but to access it, you need to pull the interior panel. I think it like 4 little screws/bolts to the lip of the door metal. It's pretty easy once you pull the panel and look inside.

so i tried to pull the window sweep up and silicone it and two more clips broke, and the silicone did not work but i figured out how to get it out.
Pull the interior door panel off, then undo the three small bolts that holds the mirror on. i also loosened the two bolts for the window track because the window sweep is wedged in between the door shell and the rubber piece where the mirror is bolted on.
i didnt order the new one yet but it is not bolted on i assume that you just have to force the new one on. i will let you know when i do finally replace it, which hopefully will happen this weekend if the part gets here in time.

The rubber trim piece? Not really sure, I got most of my parts from either sponsors on these type forums or like classic industries or something to that effect (year one) depending on how old/hard to find the part is at your dealer. I'm sure some of these parts can be found on Ebay and from sponsors on this site. I think I looked for OEM suppliers on Ebay for my weatherstripping/t-top seals/etc.
