I'm pretty sure he was posting a vid showing the drivability of his solid roller LT1 at low RPM's, which is evidently really good.

Bad ***

AI setups seem amazing when paired with all the right supporting parts.

I did not make myself clear. My apologies. What I meant was I like the way Aleks' car sounds past 7K RPM. The first sentence is about the OP's car. Not mine. The second sentence is a description of the video I posted.
Here's mine shifting at 7200rpm with a 15-115mph punch (taken the same night as the low rpm vid/shift light is set at 6200rpm with my old setup):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JZp6cG2AKM
Can see gauges slightly better when viewed at full screen.

Thanks for the support!

Puck- You hit the nail on the head with that post.

Speed Deamon24- All that talk was getting old.

Baycityrides- I live in Cleveland, oh

Vicious95z28- I have the F.A.S.T. classic system. I bought it used for $1,300 & made my own harness. The car can easily run the stock ECU, but the F.A.S.T. saves a lot of time on the dyno (and time is $$$$$). Also, it has more range than the stock ECU. What I mean is the stock ECU only has tables to 7,000 RPM, so if you rev it faster it will only read the last available calibration and I have fuel and timing adjustments after 7500 to help it along while on the edge. However, having said that, I am very interested in the LS1 ecu swap. I think this will be the answer to our LT-1 prayers. Don't tell anyone this.... I am using a stock Delco opti spark.

96blkform- I will send you a PM the next time I get some muscle cars together. Looking like late August.

1badzee- The drivability is very good. I have so much drive around video its sick. The problem is it's boring. Yes, going up a steep hill at 1,700 rpm nice and smooth is cool, but who would watch it? Ditto for the stop and go traffic. I was afraid that after 1:24 of me driving through the hood, people would stop watching.

LT1 T/A- I beat the bike, the mustang didn't That and I like to jab at the ford guys If you find yourself in a race with a sport bike, it is easier to get by one at high speed than low speed. The mustang was racing to 160 and did not get by the bike till after that (bike hit it's top speed). It is very hard to beat a bike from 40-135 (what the SS did). If the SS started at 70, the bike would have been out of the frame in seconds and the video would be lame.

I am glad you all like the video. I have many more in the works. The new videos will be better quality, and the projects will be very cool

Alek,

That makes me feel pretty good b/c I've had my eyes on the LS1 setup myself. LS1 guys are running with no problems so it should work nice for us as well. I'm interested to hear the results of the swap from some of the guys that will get ti done before me.

Loved the video and it just goes to show people are too picky. I have read so much about poor drive ability, but lets face it, we dont build these cars for our girlfriends or for dates.

Only question i have is how come you did not go for a 383, that way you should not need to go over 7000k rpms and could still use the factory ecu. It sounds crazy when your reving that thing way up there, looks like it shakes the whole car lol
