Question HELP ! I Need Piston Part #'s !!!

Im building my 355 .30 and need the part # for the Mahl and the Speed Pro Forged pistons using stock rods & crank 10:1 compression

what compression you want? stock, lower, or higher?

Unless your going Turbo or Super charger, I would bump up the compression a bit.

Yeah, 11.5:1 or 12:1 would be fine.. I would also go with a 6 inch rod..

The MAHLE number for that combo is sbc550030f05 It's 10.6 with 64cc head. But like others said rour better off putting in a longer rod since its apart and got to be rebalanced anyway.

I have over 12:1 SCR in the FL heat on 93

don't be skurred of a little compression, just make sure you get a cam to compliment it

this isn't an "off-the-shelf" LE is it?

depending on compression you might want a bigger split than 7 degrees, I know when lloyd spec'd my cam he put in a 12 degree split, but then again this is a car that gets driven every day and won't see race gas
