Default irwindale 1/8th mile times!!!

we took our little shop project to the track tonight after getting the computer back from tuning. The air was a little crummy but not that bad, track temps about 90 and track prep was good. The car is a 93 camaro with a 96 engine and harness, 3500 stall, shorties, 3 42 gear, shift kit, pretty big isky cam, slinnies, 28 inch tall drag radials, stock suspension, and some weight reduction. Only got one good run for the night but the shifts were way late around 6600 rpm and we could have got a better time if the shifts were around 6300 imo.
60' was 1.61
1/8th 7.96 at 87mph.
Next week we are going to get those shift points down stall it a little harder at the line and see what she does... But all in all not a bad time!

That Irwindale is great in the winter. Those Thursday night races when it dips into the 40s are going to make me take a drive.

Congrats on the times. Nice 60ft time.

Nice, I have driven by that track a few times when my dad lives out in Arcadia.
