Default 94 car with 96 block

Can a 94 car with pcm and all work with a 1996 block with all accessories attached as well. Or would I have to use a different pcm to hook up all electrical parts. Will the harness still work with this engine or not? If not what is needed to allow the conversion?
thanks guys, Tom

Yes, it will be a direct swap. Just hook up the harness to everything there, disregard the CPS sensor in the lower left side of the timing cover. You don't have to change your harness or computer.

So the crank sensor will know longer be in effect, so how would the car run right and/or get turned? Will it even fire up with no signal? Sorry, I just get it!

The CPS sensor is just a part of the OBD2 misfire detection. It serves no purpose towards the operation of the engine. Just ignore the fact that it is even there.

Yes, a '94 PCM is obd1. Just drop out your old engine, swap the new engine onto the k-member, attach the harness, lift it back up into the body, connect everything and be on your way.

I have a 94 with a 97 short block. the only thing that needed changed was the wire for the opti spark. You might have to buy one from gm.

You say all accessories attached as well. You may need to change a few other things. The knock sensor, coil, and ignition module are different as well.
