Clevite 5746 head gaskets...

My buddy needs head gaskets...anyone have information/reviews about these?

For the price, they must have skimped somewhere. Not to mention they won't ship for over 2 weeks.

Why not stick with the Impy gaskets?

I thought I read somewhere that Impy gaskets were out of stock from most places. That's what I wanted to get for him. Just the part number escapes me.

Got my MR G 5716s fast from summit and they are just a tad thinner (.026) than Impy gaskets(.029?) and dont know of any problems with them failing either.
oh and the price is each. So its more expensive than the MR Gs

I'm 99% sure those are Victor Reinz which is Clevite, and Victor Reinz also makes most of your OEM GM gaskets.

That place in Tallmadge, OH has Impy's I think.
