I guess that means I gotta stop by a friends shop since I don't have the scanner myself.....So much fun.....

 

I had the same prob had air in the system. after i bleed it out fans came on fine. Have you done anything to the cooling system at all?

 

yeah I bled it and all, I'm currently waiting on the 160 t-stat to be delivered, but I'm going to go get it scanned in the morning so I'm hoping to see something there.

 

Another fun tid bit.......When I turn on the A/C the primary fan comes on.....So I'm guessing the ECM is communicating with the fan telling it to come on (I was unable to get the scanner on it this morning), so now I'm really stumped. I'm guessing it would be the temp sensor not relaying the proper temp to the ECM and maybe that would explain some of my rough running at part throttle.......

Any other guesses?

Otherwise I bought the switches and I have wires ready to go, I just don't want to ruin the interior by adding switches if I don't have to......

 

ehhh I bit the bullet and put a switch in....works fine now.....
