Yes you will need the ls1 spindles to go with the rest of the conversion parts. Also you will need to either go with a longer flexible brake line or do what I did and make a bracket to move the existing metal brake line bracket out, which will give you the slack you will need on your lt1 flexible brake line.

I bought the rotors, drivers caliper, wheel bearings, and spindles for $40 at a swap meet. Only usuable parts were the rotors and the drivers side caliper. Both spindles where bent and both wheel bearings were bent. I bought another set of spindles from a member here for $60 shipped and a caliper and bracket from oreillys for $90 (was suppost to be $65) and reused my wheel bearings and brake hoses and bent the bracket down as well as the brake line.
If you can get a deal on spindles it shouldn't be too bad as long as the guy selling them isn't trying to rip you off with some bend ones

Yeah but those come with spindles. I'll tell you that I have too much money into my swap, but I got screwed by a shitty seller.

I used some brake lines meant for a C5 front brake conversion, worked great. Got them from a non sponsor. I bought my spindles off a F-car salvage parts place on e-bay. I used Power Slots and Hawk Ceramic pads, got those from ws6store. For the calipers, I paid a 100 or so for the pair from another board member had 20 miles on them off of an 02 SS. Bought brand new wheel hubs for both sides.
