Not this damn wheel drama again....Everyone has wanted a set of Greg Welds at one point it seems like only to be let down in the end that they just won't fit. Then up again on promises of a wheel that would clear that never came to be

Yes i do have a set. I have 15x3.5 up front and i have 15x10's in the rear. But yes they do fit with some grinding. The rears that i have are not the correct backspacing; the backspacing that i have is correct for a mustang, but the new set that i am ordering tomorrow or friday will be the correct 7.5 backspacing. These are stated as being the correct backspacing from the dealer that i am ordering them from. He said they are to be delivered to him in about 3-4 weeks and then will take about 4 days to ship out to me. The new company is the ones that are selling the new style with the correct 7.5 backspacing.

as you can see in the forth picture that rears are not even close to being the right backspacing.

Haha i know right. I just did the grinding on the calipers last night. So they are still bare metal. they will be getting primed and painted. Depending on the the new design i might be buying a new caliper for this side if the others fit with no grinding.

Stock width axles need a 7.5 BS with 15x10s and 5.5bs for 15x8s. I just wish I didnt have to grind so much to get them to fit. Ill prob end up buying drag brakes if I keep these, even thoough the stock calipers seem to still be prety stout except the slide bolt pockets

yes the new set that i am ordering is going to have the 7.5 backspacing but i am keeping the set of 15x10 with the 5.5 backspacing for when i get my new shortened rear end. Whenever that might be.

The slide pockets were my only worry as well. But it was only the far tip and a little bit where the rubber boots lip hooked onto the caliper bracket. I didnt have to take that much off though so im not to worried about it. Maybe the 93 LT1 rear calipers were just a little bit smaller that the later models. Not sure maybe i just got lucky.

Mine are pretty flat near the boot, I only wore through the end of the hole like you. Doesnt seem like it would effect anything. I hate to know that they are not perfect.
The rims look **** though so its worth it!!
