Question Roadmaster w/ LT1 improvements?

Hi guys,
I have a 95 Buick Roadmaster Wagon (woodie) with the LT1 engine in it.
Now I'd like to 'massage' the engine a bit. Just for fun, not drag racing or similar.
Anyone here that knows easy and not too costly improvements? Without opening the engine. The car will remain stock from the outside, like a sleeper.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Frank

go for simple things first, invest in a CAI and a catback exhaust. later you can move on to some headers and other stuff.

basically what Super Mario posted. Dont worry about ignition upgrades because they arent really needed unless you are going with large mods. Any basic bolt-on to let the car breathe will work best.

CAI stands for Cold Air Intake- SLP, K&N, and Moroso are all good brands. As for the exhausts, does the roadmaster have true duels (2 mufflers) or a single muffler setup?

Default dual

Cold air intake, duh...
It has a dual muffler setup.
Do I have to change anything fuel related when installing an intake?
Like MAF's, fuelmapping or so?

nope, computer will adjust for everything. You dont need to change anything fuel related till about 400 RWHP to be safe, which you most likely wont see

I'd stick with the typical mods, look at what the Impala SS' guys are doing for ideas on what parts they are choosing to run. But like said here, Cold Air, Headers, a after mraket torque converter for the tranny with a remote tranny cooler, good set of gears, good cat back and maybe play with the suspension a bit. Ton of aftermarket for the LT1 and B-Body car line. The idea of hot rodding wagons such as yours has gained a bit of popularity in the past few years.
