Will a rotor and cap made for a optispark 2 fit my optispark 1? I know they are ventilated and i was told that i should buy a ventilated cap. But will it fit? So confused please help. Ordering parts at the moment:confused

As stated above, by a MSD cap and rotor. That will accomplish your goal of converting to a vented opti.

To answer your question, yes, it will fit, but then you'll only have one vent. AFAIK, the '93-'94 MSD cap will come with two vents.

Be sure to apply thread locker to the rotor screws when you install the cap and rotor.

If you don't, it won't really matter. Unless your luck sucks lol. I've never had a problem
