o2 Sensor Question 93 T/A
o2 Sensor Question 93 T/A 93 T/A M6 I'm thinking my idle problem is from o2 sensors, I just don't know which one of the three. There are 2 on the engine I've read.. But can't find them, and one before the cat. How do you test these?
I believe the 93 only has two O2's, 1 located on each exhaust bank. The third one (after the cat) is only to measure the catalytic converters efficiency and 93 doesn't have it.
Mine were tested with a diagnostic tool (not a scan tool) that lets you watch the numbers they control jump around. If they are quick to respond and make large jumps up and down (in numbers) they are working well, if they are slow/lazy to adjust numbers and jump in small increments they're not working well. Hopefully someone will confirm this for you!
