Default o2 Sensor Question 93 T/A

93 T/A M6 I'm thinking my idle problem is from o2 sensors, I just don't know which one of the three. There are 2 on the engine I've read.. But can't find them, and one before the cat. How do you test these?

Go to your local parts store and have them pull codes if they can or even a local shop can do it. Find out the code and then replace the bad sensor!

The thing is, it only puts out sensor 12, a few weeks back it was throwing like 4 different ones.

Do you mean code 12, either way you need to know what the codes are right now, not last week...fix what needs to be addressed right now by reading codes.

I'm not sure they would be the problem, but they do control your air/fuel ratio.

I believe the 93 only has two O2's, 1 located on each exhaust bank. The third one (after the cat) is only to measure the catalytic converters efficiency and 93 doesn't have it.
Mine were tested with a diagnostic tool (not a scan tool) that lets you watch the numbers they control jump around. If they are quick to respond and make large jumps up and down (in numbers) they are working well, if they are slow/lazy to adjust numbers and jump in small increments they're not working well. Hopefully someone will confirm this for you!
