Okay long story short. I bought my ol' 93 ta back. Well today I tuned it up. and put in new plugs. the full metal jacket 175.00 dollar plug wires are only a yr. old, and in great shape. so I didn't replace them.
car pulls fine, just when cruising around she stutters, almost like it's a electrical problem,maybe a missfire.. I have a fuel pressure gauge and a walbro in the tank. and the gauge is not dropping. it has a 1yr. old msd opti. the coil is a accel that came with the 300+ ign. system. about 3yrs. old. and it looks like it is alittle rusty. the prev. owner broke the turn signal stalk. and had another steering column put in, that is when he said it started studdering.
could it poss. be the steering column installation could have messsed up the ign. wiring?
or should I try a new coil 1st. would a weak coil cause low rpm/cruising studdering/cutting out?

thanks for any help. I haven't worked on a lt1 for a few yrs. since owning a ls2. so Im getting back in the saddle.
