No sure about that? Mine was diagnosed on the vehicle, I got about 5pages of all data diagnostics on it. Mine had excessive shaft play, so the bearing was shot.

Is that one of those diagnostics you get at like Midas, or someplace like that?? I might do that and see what they say if it is

As has been previously stated, the o2 sensors are whacked when you run open headers. My wide band read full lean with open headers.

Any place that has diagnostic equipment. The dealer I went to gave me a print out of the diagnostics because i wanted proof that it was actually bad. Basically the technician wil plug in a tech 2 and pull the codes. The tech 2 will have them run a battery of tests based off of the dtc's being set, narrowing it down to the problem. They print it off and hand it too you for a charge depending...

A similar thing happeded to me at the track last year.

Car was running excellent but I could not launch it wrth ****. I also had on MTDR's at 18# of pressure and I think thats where I screwed up. Also at the time I had 3.90's. Now I have 4.10's.

Dumped the clutch at 3K and it bogged down to 1.8K. Same thing happened at 5K too. I simply had too much damn traction for a prepped track. I am convinced that is I had left the 30# of pressure in the tires , the way I drove it to the track then things would have been better.

I ran consistant 13 flats @107MPH with 2.3 60ft times which of course suck.

Here is a Datamaster run snapshot:

Look at the RPM bogdown at the beginning of the run. Look at the time lost in order to dig out of the hole. If I can launch the thing good, I should be deep in the 12's.

At the begining I had zero wheel spin. Clearly if I can minimize traction a bit and get them spinning a bit more, it should not bog as bad. Plus now I have the 4.10's too.

It was on street tires and it never bogged like this on these tires before the swap. I lanched against that LS1 and left it out of the hole and was pulling on it the entire 1/4....now I cant get it to leave the hole like that...

You need 4.10s. Don't waste your money on 3.73s.

I agree with this. 4.10's or go home.

Now that I re-read you post.

When you run straight collectors, you bottom end and mid end torque goes to totally to ****. Of course the power will shift upward and peak power will be a little bit more.

During my last dyno tune I made a pull straight collectors and made 384RWHP with a very narrow torque band which resembled that of shorty headers.

We then stuck a 18" pipe (torque tube) on each collector and the power dropped to 381RWHP but the low and mid end gains were like OMG better. Power under the curve was greatly improved with some good exhaust scavenging.

This might be your problem.
