Default Nitrous with stock bottom end? How much

I'm finishing up a rebuild with a near stock bottom end.

Using a 1996 LT1 with PM rods and ARP bolts, stock crank, and Wiesco forged pistons.

The motor also has a CC305 cam, ported heads, bigger Raceflo valves (2.00/1.56), 52mm TB, 30# injectors, 1.6 Pro Magnum Rockers

I'm expecting 375rwhp. Can I still spray this without destroying the motor? I was thinking about a 75 or 100 shot.

You'll be fine with a 150 shot with arp bolts and forged pistons..

yeah I sprayed 150 on a 365rwhp N/A stock bottomend Lt1 and it ran 10.80's@125mph but didn't last too long. So I built a similar setup to yours and it worked great. later

Sweet. I was hoping to see a mid 11sec time with a 100 shot. I don't expect the car to get into the 10's because its actually set up for autocross and won't hook up with that supsension setup. The nitrous is just for a little added punch. You never know when another 100hp might come in handy.

Are you having the assembly balanced?

I wouldnt be afraid of a 100 shot at all. Forged pistons and I'd hit it w 200+

Yes, the rotating assembly was balanced. I assembled it myself. Clearances on the mains were about .0025, pistons are forged, but I'm staying with 100 shot since the car will already overpower the chasis on a drag strip and is overpowered for autocross as well. The only place that I'll ever get to use the nitrous (once installed) is for purging to scare guys in Z06's -- I'm also making room in my garage for a 2005 Z51 Corvette once this build is done.

If thats all you'll be using the kit for is to purge, you might aswell just get the purge show kit, I think zx makes it. It's just purges, to make it look like ur spraying
