1AM. In the morning.

I got 2 year old twins that wont allow that to happen.

I remember back in the high school days, after school we would street race on Hume road nearly every day. Finish line was right before the bridge. Definitely felt much more bulletproof then.

Seriously, I am wanting to go to Clay City strip one Friday evening just to play, but not actually race. I will send you a PM and maybe we can work something out and go down there and run.

After some extremely unfortunate encounters, that some friends of mine have had with fate, I think my street racing days are behind me.

That looks very nice. I bet you could sell that system on the side. Assuming they arent' welded on, I think you should experiment with some different tips.

I could remove this system and install it on any 4th gen f-body. I had this in mind when building it if heaven forbid I ended up wrecking the car. The 2.5" inlet tips are clamped on, not welded. Therfore any 2.5" tip would fit my system.

I am convinced I could sell them. But it is a ton of work and time consuming and right now I dont have the time. Unless the price is just right.

So, it cost you 1100 bucks for all of the parts, which means you would need at least 1110 to justify building one for someone else?

I didn't realize you were from Kentucky. Bowling Green is my hometown, and is where my car sits on jack stands.

All the parts shown in the pics. Yes.
If I had gone with aluminized and dropped the cutouts, it would have been MUCH cheaper to do.

Yeah, Im in Lexington.

Who wants to build something that's going to rust? Not me.

Agreed.
But for full disclosure. The Magnaflow mandrel bent pipes are not T304 stainless (like Borla uses) which is the primo stuff that is impervious to rust. They are actually the T409 stainless which is a bit lesser quality but much more corrosion resistant than aluminized. A magnet will not stick to T304, but it will stick to T409. The price for T304 would have been cost prohibitive.

Considering this is NOT a daily driver and it never sees winter weather, the pipes should last forever.
