LT1 question

I have a 96 camaro lt 1 with a six speed and I want to come close to 400-450 to the rear wheels is there any advice as to what I need to do or parts to order

If you are talking no NOS or boost.

Bore it, stroke it. You will need heavily ported, well flowing and possibly aftermarket heads. Oh, and a big *** cam with high duration. All the boltons and and spot on tune you will be close to 450rwhp. 400 RWHP is rather easy to hit with less work and money.

Lloyd Elliott or AI have the packages for LT1 that will get you there.
