Default Water Pump Help Needed

Couple issues. First, I cannot get the coupler off the water pump gear. Has anyone had these issues?

Also I installed the water pump drive seal into the timing cover before I put it on the car. Should I take it out and get a new one? Or will the seal still work?

It takes some pb blaster on that coupler and some leverage mine was tough too.... Make sure you use felpro gaskets and let it seal for a day to ensure no leakage due to you opti. I don't know your other part.

no you wont have to get a new one. the seal will still work provided it doesnt rip when you install the cover back on the motor.
