Default Help with engine swap.

I found a pretty clean 1995 V6 Camaro i want to get to put my LT1 into it. Basically what i need to know is does the V6 Camaro still come with the 10bolt rear-end and will it be able to handle a V8. And also what will i need to change to make it run. Computer's,Wiring Harness and engine mounts? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

-LT1 & trans
-LT1 k-member (don't know if the v6's are the same for LT1's or not)
-LT1 wire harness & PCM

You'll have to do some research as to what compatibility issues you'd have with trying to connect the engine harness with the body harness.

10-bolts are weak, all of them, even for a stock LT1, especially backed behind a T56. I would look for a 3.42 rear end out of a '94-'02 M6 Fbody.

The V6 rear won't even be a posi, unless it came with the performance axle package.

You will also need a

-LT1 fuel pump
-LT1 instrument panel
-LT1 radiator
-Dual cooling fans (if you dont have it)

This link will help with the compatible issues.

You'll also need a one-piece driveshaft (V6s came with 2-piece units with a center support bearing).
