Default flickering check gages light

when I hit the gas my check gages light flickers as well as my oil and volt meter looks like a electrical/ground fault. any one have had this problem? just wondering if its known issue for a simple fix loose connector etc.

Check the main ground, but it can also be caused by low voltage, alt or battery.

thanks I re-terminated the braided ground from the head ill check the negative battery cable any others? it happens when i rev the motor quickly so it makes sense that it would be tied to the block. perhaps ill just get new cables alredy have 1 heat shrink/ solder splice in the alt wire.

The main connectors on the passenger side fender would also be a place I'd check. I would just replace the alt wire if its the large one, 140 amps goes through there.
