Sorry guys I havent been by a computer for a bit. I was gunna ask if I'll notice a lot from going from 3.23's and stock cam to the 3.73's and a cc503 cam. I know I might sound like a noob, iv just never been able to do more than just work on friends fbodys untill now lol. It's alot better when you actually get to drive the car and feel the gains.

I have the "Hot Cam" and I take my kids to school everyday with it. May not be the fastest but is definantly fun and is more than streetable. I have no bolt ons, gears, or converters and enjoy it.

OP, I had the same wants as you, my car is not a dd, but i drive just as much, enjoy it too much. I wanted a streetable cam that made gobs of torque down low, and didn't need to spin high, 6200 at most. So, after doing some research, I decided I wanted the 227 cam, so, that's what's sitting under my bed waiting till I have everything else I need.
