No reason for the guy to go off on you like that. As far as not letting you drive it, some guys are like that. In my case I would be taking a chance letting you drive if you had less than 10 yrs. driving experience. My insurance coverage doesn't allow young drivers. Can't complain though, it's covered for $20k if wrecked beyond repair or stolen. Cost a whole $250 a year, but has some driving limitations which are fine with me as it's not a DD.

Weird guy.. When I went to buy mine I went over to the guy's house and talked with him a bit about the car and he said if you want to test drive it, here are the keys. Don't have too much fun.

Bought it the next day

i bought mine with a broken valve spring while i was in the desert and didnt even see the car. it was a friend of a good friend though, and with everything fixed (needed a new opti and window motor but im not mad about that) it runs 11s. sometimes taking a chance works out for you

I bought my '97 sight unseen, but test drove the '95 to close the deal. I think in any case, it is the buyer's option to test or not. The buyer holds the cards -- and the cash
