Porting stock heads and intake? worth it?

I was just wondering, how long would it take to receive the ported intake manifold and heads after being sent to Lloyd Elliot? I have plans to rebuild my LT1 and researching porting, I suppose I shouldn't trust the shop to handle that job. Since I want the motor done right, I might as well have the porting done right too.

I was just wondering, I figured it would be a wait. I haven't brought my car in for it's rebuild, but I needed an idea of how long it would take before they would receive the intake manifold and gaskets. It's something for me to think about if it is nearly a month's wait. Thanks for the response.
