I have a 93 z28 with a stutter on 1/2 to 3/4 acceleration. I have put new plugs, new wires, new coil, new icm, an new fuel filter. I had the car tuned about a month before it started an the guy said my fuel pump was weak would that cause the problem im describing? Any suggestion would be great

Yeah just do the fuel pump, it doesent really sound right, but iv seen pumps do some wacky ****. The only other thing i can think of is that you might have a bad injector, but i think they would have seen that while tuning because one bank would go lean.

Have you done a pressure test yet? You need to tape the guage to the windshield and go for a spin and wach the pressure.

Pull codes, if its the opti you should see a specific code or couple of codes for it.

service engine light bulb could be out. you need to check for codes.

I have a similar issue between 1500 - 2000 RPM once the car heats up. It runs perfect until it gets hot enough for the fan to kick in. No codes what so ever.

It's been like that for a while, but it also started doing this about a month after a new ICM/Coil. I have another ICM to throw in there, just haven't had the time.

there should be a piece of metal the runs right underneath the valve cover. thats what i always ran my #7 wire above. and i didnt run my smog pump. so i wired tied all the wires to one of the holes where the pump mounted lol thats all i would do i tie the wires back away from the headers.
