Default Another weight reduction thread

Finally got around to removing the AC/Heater box on the firewall and now im trying to get rid of wiring and relays that i dont need anymore. does anyone have a diagram that shows what is for AC/Airbags? also what can i pull off of the BCM now that i dont have Airbags/ABS?

i don't really see deleting relays and wiring helping you lose some weight lol

If you go into the electronics/stereos section I believe WhiteBird00 has a sticky, if not you can ask him. He really knows his stuff and has tons of diagrams.

It may be more work than its worth, but if you're willing then more power to ya!

I just used a haynes manual and traced through it, you can probably search under my name and see a bunch of pics of the different wireing I took out, it came in well over 50# of wire relays BCM and all taken out...

i agree its a waste of time to gut the car to reduce weight if its a daily driver . i like my cars comfortable and user
friendly

Not all of us DD them. Sooner or later Im sure Ill be pulling extra wires out too, just to save alittle weight.
