block material, cam size, combustion chamber size, head ports, and firing order determine the sound. besides exhaust.

I would beat block material has the least, and very small effect, on the sound though. Very small

once u crossover. thers no turning back..
ive seen it so many times over the yrs. i been messing with these engine. i didnt exactly come from a stock or bolt ons lt1 either.

I'm doing the same. I already have a 2001 camaro that I got for 4k... w/38k miles. It came with a spare LQ9 that I am building for my purple car over the next year or so. I want to run LS7 heads though. Can't beat a budget LQ9 build!

wont be able to run ls7 heads on a lq block unless it been equipped with large bore sleeves, but even then ther is better options for blocks if want to run ls7 heads.
me, im trying to convince my friend to sell me his 400+cfm c5r 2003 vintage heads and intake, oopss.. said too much alredy

How much power are you going for? Might as well just use L92 heads.

l92 heads will easily support 600bhp or around 500rw in stock form
