It's steel. I couln't find anything with the correct bend in aluminum, I would have prefered to have used either aluminum or plastic.

Thanks for the link, I didn't see any 60* bends though. I know from experience that 45* and/or 90* will NOT work. I may call that place and see of they can come up with a 60*...

Do a google for "Aluminum exhaust bends", there are a good bit more to offer.

just picked up a stock intake from a C6Z, looks like the angle is about right and it would clear a lot better than a 3.5" oval pipe. im running speed density so its a little easier for me, im gonna run a drop in filter and see how it does. it was free why not

I hate to bump a old thread, But does anyone know how much tubing i will need like the whole length of it?
Like for example the spectre pipe looks like its just the part where it bends..

I did it recently. I like it. Looks cool. You can really hear the air sucking in.

Has anyone ever done this with a universal cold air intake or a piece of silicone 60 degree bend elbow? Also has anyone successfully done it using any corvette parts? I hear they are not enough of a bend radius.
