over the radiator intake setup info needed...
i know ls1 speed has this setup. think its possible with 4" oval tubing and a stock hood? i already trimmed some on the radiator and a little on the core support. also what was the filter used because i cant seem to find the "flat"ish filter that i believe ls1 speed has. otherwise ill just throw a 3" cowl hood on the car. pics and part numbers appreciated thanks.

Dr Gas has the pipe, its a 3.5" 1D 60* bend. Then you will need 1 3.5 to 4" coupler to connect the TB to the tube, and 1 3.5" coupler to connect the MAF to the intake tube (PM me I ordered an extra one). Some 18 awg wire to extend the MAF wires, remove your AC condenser, trim the top of the radiator, and remove the underhood insulation.
I had to heat the bottom of the tube to crush it dow about 1/2" so it would clear the stock hood. Then I used a K&N filter and hooked that to the MAF. I'll try to get some pics for you and the K&N part #
Good luck man

thanks! ac is already deleted, i can have a stainless radiator support made once i get the radiator angle correct because i need to lay it down a bit from the looks of it. im also speed density that simplifies it a little bit i guess. if you could get the filter pn thatd be great

I'll try to get a pic up tomorrow, but I have been super busy lately. Fuel pump in my jeep as well as getting water out of it from a leaky seal (carpet is drenched) and a motor swap in my moms jeep. Damn Jeeps LOL
But I'm still using the stock radiator support with a hole cut in it. It had a corner broke of it so I didn't feel bad about cutting it up. Heating up the bottomside of the pipe and crushing it in a little bit helped alot in keeping it under the stock hood without trimming and not having to lay back the radiator more than it already is.
My buddy is suppost to let me use his metal break so I can fab up my new support, but it hasn't happened yet.

I removed all of the plastic shrouding infront of the radiator to get all of the ai into the radiator from the front of the car, and it actually runs a little cooler than it did before.
The filter I used was a RU-3620 and I ordered it at autozone for $38 or so. And I got the reducer and coupler off of ebay.
Pics in a few minutes of mine before I go work on junk jeeps again LOL

I had thought about doing that, but really can't see a reason to. Last weekend when my tuner was datalogging my car, my IAT temps were always 81-83 degrees, even in stop and go traffic, it was 79 degrees that day. I'd say thats keeping things pretty cool.
