Default Intake Manifold Bolt

Today I drove my car to Ft. Collins (45 mile drive). Most of you know the issue with acceleration I have been having, but it has ONLY been acceleration...till tonight.

I got to Foco and went to hit the brakes to slow down for an exit......VERY little brakes. acted like it didnt wanna stop. Stopped it finally and it idled rough for a second then cleaned up. Started driving again and the brakes were back, all seemed ok. Stepped on it a bit and went to stop and it was hard again. Had to pump em a little.

Got to Advance Auto because I needed some oil (bad oil leak, getting fixed when I solve this accel issues so I do it all in one sweep) and I saw smoke coming out of a bolt hole on my intake manifold! I knew it was missing, but it was the spot where the additional alternator bracket sits and I was told it did not go through and would not cause a vacuum leak...well APPARENTLY it does!

Now my next issue. I cant find a damn bolt to fit this thing...anyone have an extra I can snag???

Good ****. I DID manage to test the top end slightly on the way back though...just to see how she rides. Got her to 130mph in 5th at 4400 rpms. Slowed it down from there. It got there fast, ran smooth, and didnt seem to have an issue...

Like I said, I was told by someone I trusted (apparently I shouldnt) that it was only for the alternator bracket and did not go through...I was told I could remove it and have no leak. This is the first time I noticed anything like this from that bolt. The bolt that WAS in it when I had that bracket on there, only sat loose ever since the day I got the car. I noticed that the first time I took the alternator off. The bolt they used was too small to thread so they just said eff it and left it that way and let the weight/pressure of the alternator hold it in place. I removed that bracket when I did this swap, but did not have a bolt to fill that spot. Had I known it actually DID leak, I would have told that guy he is a moron, and gotten a bolt in there immediately.

Now that I know about it, it WILL be fixed ASAP. The car will NOT be driven till it is.
