Ball joint keeps spinning when i tighten it????

need some help please. im doing the ls1 brake conversion and im trying to put the new spindle on and the bolt from the ball joint keeps spinning when i tighten it. do i need to compress it or is there another way???

try a c-clamp to hold it tight. that's how i did mine.

Yeah, it needs more compression to forced the tapered joint in the hole.

got it thanks yall. i went and got the ball joint tool from the auto parts store and then even used it just like a c clamp. cost some money but it was worth it my alignment is just Fucked but stops good!!!
