Im looking to take out my front bumper support but want to make sure that my bumper cover isnt going to sag and im not trying to spend $300+ on the support for it. any ideas?

It will sag a little bit. I took mine off and it opened the gap up between the hood and the bumper about another 1/16".

It doesn't sag too bad. But if you look for it, you will notice a difference. My car isn't a looker so I didn't think twice. Even took out the rear support. Can't even tell the rear is gone. But I tell ya what, if someone rearends me or I clip something with the front of my car, it'll probably total it out.

My car gets driven very little also. My biggest concern is some idiot rearending me at a redlight. The gap in mine isn't too bad. If you look you will find but I don't pay any attention to it...

define collapse? deforming a little at 100+ im sure, but it'll bounce back to the original shape. i plan on 140+ traps and im not giving it a second thought.

I saw some pics of a fast Formula going through the traps that made me decide never to pull out the stock supports without some kind of reinforcement
