Default Oops

So im driving on the interstate the other day, I grab third to get around some cars before my off ramp, then i go to grab 4th, and it wouldent come out of gear. Then i realize theres a vibration in the clutch pedal. I knew right then the clutch was toast. But wasnt expecting this...Freaking ripped the metal body in half! The disc was so out of shape it was grinding on the pressure plate and still spinning the tranny, so the clutch was basically engaged with the pedal down. Im guessing it was cracked and making its way out and just finally gave out. At least it dint happen on a launch lol. The bad part is i'm a mechanic and havebeen really slow, so im dead broke. This is my daily driver too, I even sold my old daily driver so that i could keep the bird! So now im out of cash and have no car.....and a fenco stock replacement is 210 bucks.

Time to upgrade! Spec Stage 2 or 3...take your time and get a better clutch.

Just skip the rent or food for the month and get another clutch :-p Sorry to hear it, hopefully you get some work this week and can buy another here shortly without too much trouble.

Does any body have a good stock friction disk and pressure plate? Or even just a good friction disc? I need something to get me back on the road, even if I have to drive careful. I seriously have no wheels right now!

I am very aware that this is not the best idea, I just need to be able to drive my car.
