Center console question
I just installed a 99 Center console into my wife Firehawk today because she wanted cup holders. Everything went easy except for a couple of things.. I need to change the connector for the Cigarette lighter to the newer style(no biggy). The 95 dash seems to come down a little lower then the 97-02 dashes so the console isnt sitting perfectly but you would never tell unless I pointed it out to you.. My main Question is this..
My wifes car is a auto and came with that Performance shift button in front of the cup holder. The 99 console I got has a TCS switch that I was planning of using as the Perfomance shift button switch. Has anyone ever done this? Using the Traction control switch as the performance shift button? If so how did you wire the switch? Both have 5 wires going to the connectors. just wondering if there were a diagram that I can follow to splice the connector on the wires?
