Street car....so no time slips. Last year made 1080rwhp @24-27psi. Looking for 1300+rwhp at a lot less boost this year.

The power these turbo cars make is unreal...one of these days I'll leave this bottle behind. Nice build man.

Can you share any specs from the motor?

because hes making 1300 hp dude. dart block is alot stronger, better oiling, and just more reliable in general. when hes probably already running a crank trigger, jesel belt drive, aftermarket engine management, 20+ psi and race gas why stick with an lt1?

im also assuming he didnt stick with the 4.00 bore to allow those heads to breath. a 400 cube ltx is not a FI motor, pistons wouldnt last.

396 is close enough. You dont hear of many block failures with LT1s? Thats why I asked.

Yup this is why I ditched the Lt1....The Lt1 will not last long....I have been trying for years, it just rattles the bearings out of it and I know the block moves around and gets all distorted......I can't afford it keep up with it.....my goal is to clear 1300+wheel hp or more and drive it a lot.... The LT1 is done in my opinion at 1000hp fly wheel hp and is not reliable anymore...you will wear the bearings right out of the thing....

Gotcha!!! I knows theres a handfull of 1000rwhp + 355s but maybe the larger bore stroked motors dont handle it as well
